Bending Sound
We’re a totally independent record store based in Bangor Northern Ireland. Bending Sound was born from a love of music, a passion for records and the frustration of being in a town where the fabulous record shops (and they really were fabulous) had vanished. We opened the doors of our independent record shop on Record Store Day 2017. There’s no substitute for rummaging the racks in a real record shop, so we resisted offering mail order until the arrival of 2020, when we all needed records more than ever but we were grounded – so we created bendingsound.co.uk, which thanks to your support – we decided to keep going.
