RSD...What is it?

"Record Store Day is a day for the people who make up the world of the record shop - the staff, the customers, the artists, the labels - to come together and honour the special role they play in their local communities' "

So...how does it work?

This celebration of independent record shops, and their individualism, is celebrated throughout the world with ultra limited edition pressings of albums, outtakes and never seen before releases.

The day operates on STRICTLY a first come, first served basis on the day with the releases solely available instore on Saturday (20th)and only one copy of each available per customer, this is to ensure fans can have the fairest chance of getting these limited pressings of their favourite artist’s albums. Sunday (21st) and Monday (22nd) are then a free-for-all instore until 8pm on Monday, when all remaining stock will go live on our website.

There are no hold overs, no promised stock and no “getting an extra one for my mate,” these are the RSD rules, so if you want it you’ve gotta come get it.

Saturday 20th April 2024. Bending Sound Records, Bangor. Doors open 8AM-8PM. Get it in the diary. (There’s a map below if you need help finding us)
