Whether you're a seasoned vinyl collector or a newcomer to the world of records, this day promises to be an experience full of life, energy and records!!.

As always, Record Store Day is about more than just the music—it's a celebration of the culture surrounding vinyl and independent record stores. Here's a look at what to expect with us on April 12th, 2025:
Exclusive Vinyl Releases
Record Store Day is renowned for its limited-edition releases, and this year is no different! We'll be stocking a curated selection of exclusive vinyl, including new releases from some of the hottest artists, rare reissues, and special collector’s items. These records are only available in-store on Record Store Day, so don’t miss out on the chance to snag some truly unique pieces for your collection. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
More info will follow about online availability, but this is often only permitted about a week after the instore date.
Special Offers and Exclusive Deals
In addition to the exclusive vinyl releases, we’ll be offering special deals on some of our regular stock, giving you a chance to expand your collection beyond the Record Store Day exclusives.

How to Prepare for Record Store Day at Bending Sound
- Arrive Early: Record Store Day brings in crowds, and the best releases sell out quickly. We recommend arriving early to ensure you get your hands on those exclusive records! We even tend to have some campers!!
- Check the List: Keep an eye on our website and social media for a list of the exclusive releases. We will also be asking for wishlists on our website, that way you, and we, can plan ahead and try to make sure you don’t miss out on anything!
- Bring Your Friends: Record Store Day is always more fun when you've got a bit of company. Bring your fellow music lovers and make a day of it—explore the vinyl, explore the 'city', chat about music, and support your local record store.

A few rules/pointers before you go:
RSD is a first come first serve event (hence the queues and campers) so there are absolutely zero holdovers on the day, this is why it's so important for us to gather your wishlists, and submitting these wishlists gives you the best chance of getting what it is you're after. We use these to gauge our ordering so if you don't ask, you're much less likely to get!
There will be a queue so take the weather into consideration when you're planning.
This queue will be managed and we will operate a steady one in one out policy on entry to the shop, so once you're in the queue only those inform of you can beat you to it in terms of getting those titles.
Everybody is restricted to one copy of each release per person on the day.
